It has seemed like a long break, but the 2009 season is finally underway. The winter break has been busy for everyone as Clayton Motorsport and Xero-Competition have been creating opportunities for Chris’s 2009 season and Chris himself has been hard into his training plan in preparation for the new season’s racing. In 2009 Chris will compete in the newly named Speed Series (V de V UK) with a Xero-Competition Ligier JS49 which will bring endurance style racing to his finger tips. Chris has yet to find sufficient budget to complete all the championship but he will begin the championship on the 18th/19th April at Donington Park. Chris states “My manager Dave Beacroft gave me the opportunity to race in the Xero-Competition run Ligier in the Speed Series. I took the opportunity with both hands as it could potentially be the stepping stone for Le Mans and I have been training hard to keep fit for the endurance style racing. I am very much looking forward to the first round at Donington Park." ![]() Xero-Competition Ligier |
