Chris's Life Outside of Motorsport

 

During the weekday Chris pursues his Motorsport career outside of the race car. Dependant on testing throughout the week his days consist of training and studying.  He makes sure that he is physically fit for any upcoming test days or race weekends and he regularly attends the gym which is provided by the Motorsport College which he studies at.

Dependant on College and racing commitments, Chris’s weekly training regime consists of cardio vascular and strength work.

Chris studies Motorsport Management and Logistics at Myerscough College but at the weekend he returns home to the Lake District where he can enjoy the outdoor activities such as Running, Biking and Shooting.

A Typical Day: - “I get up, have breakfast, and arrive at college at nine o clock. I finish college at five o clock and afterwards I go straight to the gym to begin my training. I am very serious about my training as I believe it keeps me sharp and prepared. After the gym I do my studying and relax. During the weekend when I’m at home I like to be outside and spend time with my family.”
